On 22nd March 2010 the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) granted accreditation to MDECC in recognition of the achievement of the Evaluation & Quality Improvement Program (EQuIP) standards and an ongoing commitment to continuous improvement in the quality of care, service and safety.

MDECC's ACHS accreditation is awarded until 29th August 2013 and is subject to continuous evaluation and quality improvement.
