Drink Check - The Drink Check
program screens individuals for their drinking patterns that may
cause adverse health effects. Patrons are also provided with
information around safer options. This gives an opportunity to
assess people around the likelihood of ill health that may result
from their particular drinking habits. MDECC, in partnership with
local councils, police and Community Drug Action Teams have run
this project at various times and locations on the Northern Beaches
since 2003. See executive summary…
"Most people are very unclear of what a standard drink is. The
project is an opportunity to dispel myths and really look at what
people are consuming".
